Leah Boatright is a New York-based editor renowned for her cutting-edge work in both narrative and documentary realms. Notable among her recent credits are the critically acclaimed documentaries, Storm Lake (Emmy nominee, Best Documentary at Woodstock Film Festival 2021, Audience Award at AFI DOCS 2021) and Exposure (DOC NYC 2022, BIFF Best Adventure Film 2022). She has also worked in the commercial and branded content landscape, spearheading campaigns for esteemed companies including VICE, Vogue, Refinery 29, Facebook, Hearst, and Mercedes-Benz.
Leah contributed to Benny and Josh Safdie's HBO series, Chillin Island (2021), and cut the Sundance Official Selection TV pilot, Maggie (2018), which garnered accolades including Best Episodic Pilot at SXSW. In 2022, Leah worked on documentary series, The Fourth Wall (Tribeca Film Festival 2023), an investigation into the New York Upper West Side cult, the Sullivanians.
Her latest endeavor is collaborating with up-and-coming director Jessica Earnshaw (Jacinta) on her highly anticipated second feature, Baby Doe.
